Published twice a year, HRGE fills the need for a publication that will anticipate research trends while also informing an international public of the important issues and developments in these fields of bioethics.
Dr. Calum MacKellar, founding editor of Human Reproduction and Genetic Ethics states, "Going to over 25 different countries, HRGE is one of the most important international journals in its field. It is indispensable to those seeking to discuss the ethical consequences of developments in human reproduction and genetics."
HRGE was first published in 1995 and from its inception the aim has been to provide a journal where quality discussion takes place, encouraging participation from all disciplines concerned with genetics and society. Arguments from scientific, moral, social, economic and juridical fields with their different outlooks are positively considered.
